Where did I go right?
"Where Did I Go Right?"
I'm always too late
I see the train leaving
I'm always laughing
When it's not cool to smile
I'm always aiming
But somehow keep missing
So how did you get here
Something is wrong
[CHORUS:]
Where did I go right
How did I get you
How come all this blue sky is around me
And you found me
Where did I go right
How did I get you
I don't know how I did
But somehow now I do
I'm always driving
Forget where I'm going
Should have turned left
But I was singing some song
And I, I am arriving
As everyone's leaving
But there you are waiting
Something is wrong
[CHORUS]
Makes no sense to me
No it isn't clear
But somehow you're standing here
Something gets to me
It's that nothing is wrong
[CHORUS 2X]

Grandpapa
So many things happened within te past week, its like a hirlwind, and e myself have been sinking in mud, being rather lethargic, unable to drag myself to do anything much constructive. the only thing I've probably done good is probably to set out what i want to apply for. the next step? I need to make sure of what course i'm going to sign up for, as well as penning my personal statement. And Hopefully, Mr Lee would help me edit it. but oh well. lots to do, but my brain's not spinning. And i'm not reading the Bible faithfully this week. Which is quite a horror, cos no revelation spilling in.
I don't know what to feel how to feel. Gong gong passed away. I want to rememeber him, so much. He used to have a big stomach, he had a cheeky smile, like my dad's. suddenly, i have so much to write, from the times when i was just a youngin' to a teenage, to the day I saw him on the hospital bed accepting Christ. It was like, I never thought he was going to leave. I thought he would be with us forever. But of cos, this is the danger of taking things for granted.
So meanwhile, all of us are busying ourselves with the last expenses, I try to compose, and yea. Tinges of greif do creep up as i walk past his coffin, looking at the body lying in it. The man inside looks no longer familiar. I don;t know the body anymore. It is lifeless, far from the cheeky (or as papa, gugu would call : "pai si") gong gong I have.
whie I try to contain my grief, the only friends that came only to be with me were my church friends. Suddenly, the words of whom i thought was my good friend sounded like arsenic personified : "I think I don't go la, I've never seen your grandfather". i guess that some people just don't realise that when You go for a funeral, its not just for the dead, it is also for the deceased's family.
Brilliant.

ME, what I aim to be...
A Writer.
A seeker.
A thinker.
A learner.
A disciple.
